Teens make up about one quarter of the 12 million cases of STD cases reported annually.
Sexually transmitted diseases are diseases or infections that can pass from human to human by means of sexual contact. One in four sexually active teens contract a STD. Treatment for many STD infections are limited and often not a cure, just a temporary fix.
